About Us

Teaching Commons is a campus-wide collaborative project initiated by the Stanford Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). This redesigned and relaunched version of Teaching Commons builds on the original vision of Teaching Commons as a collaborative resource for teaching and learning at Stanford.

    Teaching Commons Archive

Material from the original Teaching Commons site is currently archived under the teachingwriting URL. In the coming months, we will migrate relevant general materials to the new Teaching Commons and to the CTL website. Material specific to the PWR program will continue to live under for the immediate future.

During the transition you may experience difficulty accessing certain pages, particularly earlier Teaching Commons content. If so, you may contact Andrei or Beth, as above, for help finding migrated or archived content.

If you regularly refer to non-PWR materials from the Teaching Commons archive, please let us know! This will help us prioritize material which we are bringing over and updating.
