Autumn 23-24 TEACH Symposium
The 2023 Autumn TEACH Symposium aims to provide you with practical, actionable, just-in-time teaching and learning ideas that can be incorporated into autumn courses.
It will take place online over two half-days:
- Tuesday, September 19, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday, September 29, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Topics will include Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning, Canvas tips, syllabus best practices, setting up students for success, classroom strategies to encourage wellness and belonging, and more.

The event included a special guest speaker for Friday, September 29: Sarah Jaquette Ray, author of the Field Guide to Climate Anxiety, who presented "How to Keep Your Cool on a Warming Planet: An Emotional Toolkit for the Climate Generation".
Classroom orientation open-house
Come to the Lane History Corner in person on Tuesday, September 19 from 10:00 to 10:45 AM for an orientation to classroom tools and to connect with classroom technology support staff.
