Faculty often think about courses in terms of what they should cover. A more effective and efficient approach is to start the design process with what students should learn, and what you want them to remember from your course next quarter, or two years from now.
In this session, you will flesh out some of your learning outcomes and major ideas, and connect them to course content, assignments, and assessments. Expect lively discussions with colleagues inside and outside of your discipline! All attendees will have an opportunity to schedule individual follow-up sessions with CTL consultants.
