Teaching Lunch for Stanford Faculty and Instructors
How can you develop and implement enriching digital pedagogy ideas in your traditional face-to-face humanities seminars, without much technological knowledge or extra IT support? Dr. Petra Dierkes-Thrun will discuss recent digital exercises and teaching activities involving social media, learning collaborations with the public, and digital research and writing projects for students in traditional literature and gender studies classes, all aimed at fostering thoughtful and creative engagement with traditional humanities contents and methods. 30-minute talk, followed by Q&A and discussion. Lunch will be provided if you pre-register.
