Attend this open house to learn more about teaching in NYC next fall.
The Teaching Exchange sends up to six Stanford humanities graduate students each Fall to teach a course in a CCNY humanities department. Participants gain crucial experience in a distinctive and exciting teaching environment with committed and enthusiastic students and take full responsibility for their own courses.
The program provides an opportunity for Stanford graduate students to broaden and deepen their teaching experience, while simultaneously taking advantage of the terrific cultural and academic resources of the New York City metropolitan area.
Students continue to receive their Stanford graduate fellowship, and the program also includes teaching mentorship at CCNY, a housing subsidy to live in NY, and travel expenses to and from Stanford.
