Presented by Natasha Holmes, PhD

Description: What can students learn from questions? When a student asks you a question, your first thought might be to tell them the answer. But your student will learn best when they figure out the answer, not when you tell them. In this workshop, we will critique examples of TA-student interactions, discuss some tips and tricks, and explore some challenges of teaching using questions. Participants will also have a chance to practice the technique on their peers before taking this practice into their classrooms!

Runs 12:00-1:30 p.m. Lunch is included for those who pre-register.
