Core Strategies Guide

Main content start

This guide focuses on the foundations of pedagogy and course design. We have curated this guide for those who are new to teaching in mind, but also for those who may be refreshing and updating their knowledge of effective pedagogies.

The strategies and recommendations in this guide are widely applicable to teaching in general. It is most applicable to the early stages of planning a course. It generally does not include example activities, specific tools, or strategies specific to a particular course mode such as an online or hybrid course.

If you're looking for more concrete and specific strategies consider the other Teaching Guides or browsing the Find Articles section of this website.
