Library resources

While you and your students might not be able to use the physical library spaces the same way, Stanford Libraries are still able to help with teaching and research needs. 

Winter 2021: Before visiting a library, please confirm hours and adhere to all entry requirements, especially displaying your HealthCheck Badge and taking a COVID-19 test. Visits to Special Collections require that materials be requested and an appointment made.

Current Status of Library Services Up-to-date information on visiting the libraries. 

The request and pick up service for library materials continues, and select libraries are open.

Remote resources and services Get help from a librarian though online chat hours, reference help, and remote workshops.

Subject specialists are available to provide research and instruction support.

Connecting to e-Resources Access thousands of Stanford's resources from out of the network. As of Winter Quarter 2021, course reserves remain digital: to submit a request, complete the Request Course Reserves form.
