Cynthia Lee, Center for Teaching and Learning Lecturer Consultant and Senior Lecturer in the Computer Science (CS) Department at Stanford, has developed a resource for CS called "What can I do today to create a more inclusive community in CS?". From the first day of the term to any day in class, the resource lists concrete and actionable advice, ideas, pointers, and references to help instructors build a more diverse and inclusive community within CS. Many points are broadly applicable to any teaching context.
