Freehand Grader

Freehand Grader enables instructors to gain more insight into their students’ thinking. With Freehand Grader, students can upload their hand-written assignments, illustrate their thought processes, and receive meaningful feedback on their approach.

Dynamic Study Modules

Dynamic Study Modules help students stay on track and pursue a higher level of subject-matter mastery. Each module poses a series of questions about a course topic that adapts to each student's performance and offers personalized feedback to help reinforce their mastery. With real-time feedback on their students' performance, instructors can adjust their learning activities accordingly.

Pre-built Courses and Assignments

Pre-built Courses and Assignments ease instructor workload and save time with MyLab’s pre-built courses and assignments. Each course has a collection of interactive course-specific content to adapt as instructors see fit.

Early Alerts

Early Alerts help identify students who may be struggling or falling behind. This feature uses an algorithm within MyLab that projects potential risks and alerts instructors when a student may be falling behind. With these notifications, instructors can intervene, provide support, and help keep students on track to complete the course.

Learning Catalytics

Learning Catalytics helps to increase student engagement and enhance their learning in the classroom. This interactive student response tool allows instructors to set questions and surveys and assess student comprehension. It also equips instructors with real-time data to help adjust their instructional strategy on the fly. Learning Catalytics also automatically groups students for discussion, team-based learning, and peer-to-peer learning.

Pearson+

Pearson+ provides students with combined learning tools and eTextbooks, which can be accessed directly in their MyLab course. Students can take notes, make highlights, and review flashcards in their course eTextbook, and listen to the book with the Pearson+ mobile app.

Freehand Grader

Freehand Grader facilitates grading handwritten problems. "Grade-as-you-go" rubrics enable you to assess performance and provide personalized feedback.

Performance Analytics

The performance analytics feature provides data on students’ progress so instructors can decide where to focus their lectures and assignments.

Dynamic Study Modules

Dynamic study modules are designed to respond to students' progress to help them deepen their grasp of concepts as they work through the course content.

Learning Catalytics

This is an interactive student response tool for group learning. Instructors can quiz, poll, and engage with groups of students at the same time.

Artificial intelligence features

Pearson Mastering features AI-guided practice that uses Pearson content to help students enhance their independent learning.
