Cardinal Cloud GitHub is a digital hub for software development projects where developers store, manage, and collaborate on code.

GitHub is a popular code repository service where users can collaborate on software development projects. Stanford affiliates can now choose between cloud-based GitHub and Stanford GitLab, which is built and maintained by University IT.

Stanford provides campus-wide access to Cardinal Cloud GitHub to all Stanford faculty, staff, and students with a full-service SUNet ID. It is approved for Low Risk and Moderate Data ONLY.

Joining a Stanford GitHub organization means you get access to benefits not available with a public account, including:

Access Cardinal Cloud GitHub

Stanford Developers is the default Cardinal Cloud GitHub organization open to anyone who can successfully authenticate using Stanford credentials.
Stanford Medicine: Affiliates with Stanford Medicine should submit a help ticket to join Cardinal Cloud GitHub.
