Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM) is a personal AI research and writing assistant that draws from the specific documents you provide from your Google Drive or local device, such as research articles, lecture notes, or project proposals. It acts as a personalized expert on your source material, helping you synthesize information, understand complex topics, and generate new ideas.
Gemini Notebook is available to all Stanford faculty, staff, and students with a full-service SUNet ID. Gemini Notebook is part of Stanford's Google Workspace and is approved for Low Risk and Moderate Data ONLY.

This doesn't include the paid Google AI Pro for Education add-on (also known as "Gemini for Workspace"), which integrates AI directly into apps like Gmail, Docs, or Sheets. Stanford does not currently license that service.
