The 2026 Teaching Commons Conference will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Paul Brest Hall. The conference is a full-day, in-person professional development event where we come together as a community to connect around teaching and learning. It is free of cost for all Stanford community members.

Teaching Commons Symposium in Autumn
At the beginning of each academic year in late September and early October, the Teaching Commons Symposium offers a series of curated online workshops focusing on practical, actionable, just-in-time teaching and learning ideas and resources.

Just before the start of every Winter quarter in early January, we offer online sessions based on topics that you request and vote on in the spirit of open dialogue and exploration.

Every spring in late April or early May, the Teaching Commons Conference brings together diverse people from across the University around undergraduate and graduate teaching and learning to celebrate, find inspiration, and build connections in a supportive communal space.
