Winter 22-23 TEACH U-Symposium (Jan 2023)
The TEACH U-Symposium is a half-day, online, professional development event where you decide what will be offered. It will occur on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 9 AM to 12 PM. This event is your chance to share information, connect with peers, and find support for the challenges and opportunities you care about most. Our team will prepare to facilitate discussions and information sessions during the symposium on the most requested topics.
The event will also include a keynote address by Professor Shashank V. Joshi, Assistant Vice Provost for Academic Well-being in the Office of the Vice Provost of Undergraduate Education (VPUE).
Register to attend
All Stanford faculty, instructors, staff, TAs, and students interested in teaching and learning are encouraged to attend! This event is limited to Stanford affiliates only. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link for the TEACH U-Symposium.
Format & Schedule
This event is inspired by the "un-conference" format where discussion topics are selected by the event attendees. Our intention is that this format can flex to the wide range of interests among our diverse audiences. In this fully online event, you will be able to move freely between multiple discussion tables in two rounds.
You are welcome to participate in all or part of the event. If you are attending just a part of the event, we encourage you to join a session at the beginning of the time blocked on the schedule below.
